One of Money Not Magic's resources that we are offering is our blog, and we're excited to open our blog up to you.
We’re inviting you to write a short blog about anything related to finance (doesn’t have to be specifically about personal finance) and send it to us by filling out this google form. We use the term "blog" very loosely; it can be a traditional blog, but it can also be another form of writing. We welcome short-stories, poems, anything else you can think of as long it relates to finance.
You’ll get 50 points just for sending a blog. We will review all the blogs sent in and pick some to publish on our website. Any blogs that you write will be published under your name (or a pseudonym if you prefer).
If we decide to post your blog on our website, you will receive an additional 50 points on top of the 50 points you get for submitting. That way, if you can't make it to one of our workshops, you can still participate through our blog.*
Rules:
Under no condition is plagiarism allowed. If you blog contains plagiarism, you will not receive any points and the blog will be automatically disqualified.
Include links (if it is a website) to sources you use and/or MLA citation (if it is print) at the end of your submission.
Your blog may include images as long as it is your own or you have permission from the owner to use it.
Do not use different colors, fonts, or font sizes or special formatting beyond bold, italics, or underline. You may include numbered or bulleted lists (like this one), and you may also choose between left, center, or right align. Any other special formatting will not appear in the final published blog on our website.
The main theme(s) of your blog must be related to finance.
We may fix any grammar, spelling, or word usage errors present before publishing your blog. If you see your blog on our website contains mistakes, notify us at moneynotmagic@gmail.com.
This will be an awesome opportunity for us to learn about finance from each other! Can't wait to read what you come up with.
