Money Not Magic

It's Never Too Early to Start Preparing for the Future

Home: Welcome

Our Mission

Money Not Magic is a community project designed to educate youth about various topics in finance. Our goal is to spread financial literacy starting at a young age. Too often are young adults thrown into the adult world without knowing basics like how to open a credit card or create a budget. We aim to change that by introducing "adult" topics like investing and loans to middle-school and early high-school students at a kid-friendly level, incorporating games and interactive activities.

November 11, 2020

Most people with questions about a topic they know little or nothing about seek out experts who can give them the answers.
But North Allegheny High School juniors Alina Zaidi and Angela Wu decided that it wasn’t enough to simply teach themselves about personal finances. They wanted to make sure other kids had the tools they needed to handle money.
