Money Not Magic: Introductory Workshop
To many, finance seems to be a mystical thing where people seem to create money out of thin air. However, we're going to be pulling back the curtains to reveal the smoke and mirrors behind this magic trick. Join this workshop to learn about our story and the importance of financial literacy.

**All participants should join the Google Meet in the five minutes before the hour. We will not wait for anyone after the scheduled time. Link to join included at the bottom** We're kicking off the workshop with some cool magic tricks. All magicians are welcome to show off their magic for the first few minutes (we'll be taking volunteers). After a short introduction, we'll be hopping over to Kahoot! for some friendly competition. Then we are going to dive into the story behind why we wrote and published our book Growing Your Money Tree and why we started Money Not Magic. We'll also be revealing how you can earn points and win prizes through Money Not Magic's workshops and blog! Throughout the workshop, we'll be covering the importance of financial literacy, especially among youth, as well as what investing really means. Students, parents, teachers, pets, and your mailman are all welcome!
